                                               Description : This 52 kms path traces the river ganges along a pilgrim trail from gangotri to its glacial
                                               source at Gaumukh. The route crosses the gangotri glacier and forks leading to meadows of Tapovan
                                               and Nandanvan dominated by the imposing Bhagirathi and Shivling peaks. The wildlife found along
                                               the trail are Brown Bears, Black Bears, Bharal, Ibex, snow leapords, golden eagles, lammergeiers,
                                               steppe eagles, sparrow hawks, koklass, kalij pheasants, cheer pheasants, satyr tragopan.
